JCI Cambridge supports the local community!

JCI Cambridge is passionate about helping the communities in which we live and work.

We recognise the importance of young people being active within the communitty and encourage members to take time to get involved. Each year JCI Cambridge runs a number of community projects and we are always looking for volunteers to join projects teams, creating opportunities to get involved with practical and fund raising activities on a local, national and international level.

JCI Cambridge supports a number of local charities and each year we choose a local charity to support. We have supported the Wallace Cancer Care Centre in Cambridge and even marshalled for the annual Chariots of Fire race.

On a national level we also support JCI UK by working with The Prince's Trust and the UN Global Compact and will be keeping members informed about upcoming activities and events.

Junior Chamber International as a worldwide organisation has pledged its support for the Nothing But Nets, a charity that helps to fight Malaria in Sub-Saharan Africa, and JCI Cambridge is an active supporter of this campaign.
