Meet the council team
Patrick McCrae - President
Patrick is director at Cambridge-based Works in Print, a commercial art company that rents and changes office art collections throughout London and the South East. By providing rented (or sold) art, Works in Print helps companies create a better working environment and image, getting staff and clients alike to engage with the office and workspace. Patrick specialises in selecting the right pieces for a particular space and is often the client-facing end of the business. Patrick is responsible for running JCI Cambridge, the growth of the Chamber, with a specific focus on corporate sponsor relations and forging ties with other business networks.
Jen Little - Immediate Past President
Following a second term as JCI Cambridge President after the relaunch of the Cambridge Chapter, Jen is now the JCI Southern Regional Group Chairman. In my day job I work for Pure Resourcing Solutions as a Recruitment Consultant where I work with clients across the Cambridge, recruiting in the finance and accountancy field. I have been with Pure for almost 3 years following my move back to the UK from Chicago. I am a mum to Jamie, a highly energetic 5 year old and have 2 equally manic cats, Frank and Mutley. As well as JCI my hobbies include photography, geocaching and diving. I'm also a bit of a social media geek who has a passion for red wine and chocolate. I'm learning to ride a motorbike and have recently passed both my theory test and CBT although I don't seem to have much bike time at the moment!
Lisa Bredahl Thomsen - Vice President
Lisa has developed many initiatives and contingency planning as well as responsible for a cost effective projects. She also has experience with valuations, mergers and acquisitions. Lisa has come far since joining JCI Cambridge in October 2010, besides joining the committee in January 2011, she was also awarded the most outstanding newcomer at the JCI UK National Conference 2010.
Adam Fernandes - Finance Director
Adam is Portfolio Holder at WKH Chartered Accountants, where he advises his clients with regard to HMRC regulations - such as income tax, national insurance, VAT, PAYE, corporation tax etc. Adam specialises in advising start up businesses, sole traders, partnerships and small limited companies. WKH Chartered Accountants provides a range of services, such as Audit & Assurance, Corporate Finance, Personal & Business Tax Compliance and Planning, Outsourced Payroll and Bookkeeping, Agribusiness, Financial Planning, Later Life Security, and Business Rescue & Recovery.
Harriet Bastiani - Community Director
Harriet is Real Estate solicitor at Eversheds LLP. She deals with a variety of commercial property transactions including commercial sales and purchases, but specialises in Landlord and Tenant work including the granting and taking of leases, assignments and underlettings. She is also a member of a number of local networking groups and works as a volunteer mentor through the Anglia Ruskin University mentoring programme. She regularly attends music festivals and live concerts and so it is likely that you may spot her at a gig at the Junction or the Corn Exchange!
Jo Evans - Committee Member
Jo is a Partner and Marketing Consultant with Emerald Frog Marketing. With extensive hands-on experience, Jo has managed successful and targeted marketing campaigns to both the public and private sectors and handles JCI Cambridge's PR and Marketing. Jo has extensive experience of marketing management, copywriting and social media. Jo has a husband who is a much shorter than she is and a dog she has trained to fall over when she "shoots" her.
Nick Culley - Membership Director
Nick is a Recruitment Consultant with Pure Resourcing Solutions in Cambridge where he specialises in the Senior Accountancy market. He was worked for Pure for 8 years, having previously worked for another accountancy recruitment firm in Cambridge for 7 years. This 15 years experience has seen Nickbuild up a strong network of clients and candidates in the Cambridge area and he has joined JCI Cambridge Chapter as he sees this as complimenting his day job perfectly. Nick is married with a 9 year old daughter, Beth. In his spare time, he is a keen footballer, an avid golfer, and a keen but limited cook. He also has a weakness for red wine and port.
Diana Waterer - Marketing Director
Diana is a Marketing Officer with Cambridgeshire Constabulary, where she is responsible for raising awareness of a range of projects and crime marketing campaigns for the county's police force. With over 5 years marketing experience in marketing communications and research Diana recently joined the JCI Cambridge Committee team and is responsible for promoting all aspects of the group including the website, event updates, social media and our Facebook page.
